One feature I had was to be able to turn the volume up or down during full screen mode by swiping the screen vertically up and down. There are other way of doing the same thing is using the volume buttons on the device to change the volume. Also, phones and tablets have their own systems to change volumes which is why there isn't a volume feature on the youtube app.
